Great talk by Seth Godin at a Business of Software conference:
He’s recycled some material from earlier talks, but of course it remains entertaining. His message: even in the software industry, we are in the idea business as much, or more than we are in the business of building function. To a great extent, software markets itself and therefore one should build marketing into software (he uses the analogy of BMW spending money on engineering where Ford spends it on advertising).
